Geordie Shore Star Marnie Simpson Leaves The Show

Reports say Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson has left the popular MTV show. The 23-year-old announced the news via her Twitter account this morning in a statement which now appears to have been deleted. It read: “Being part of Geordie Shore was amazing and one of the best experiences I've ever been given and I will never forget it, but I couldn't continue in the show in a relationship it wasn't fun to me anymore and I didn't enjoy it [sic]". Reports suggest that the reality TV star and the show's producers were involved in a disagreement recently and this led to Marnie leaving the show. Marnie pictured with fiancé Ricky Rayment It's thought that Marnie refused to let the show televise her fiancé's proposal as she wanted to keep the romantic moment private. A source told The Mirror: "Marnie didn’t want the biggest scene of her TV life filmed and threw a bit of a tantrum.

"After a talking to by producers the filming continued, but bosses now think her storyline has come to an end".

MTV has not yet commented on the rumour and is not yet clear whether Marnie left the show of her own accord or it was a decision made by Geordie Shore bosses.
