We spend so much time obsessing over the royal family, sometimes we forget that they're humans. Humans who love each other like us 'normal' folk! Take Prince Charles as an example. Sure, he's next in line to the throne, and will be a King some day... but to George and Charlotte, he's just a grandad. You'd forget! And like many grandads, Prince Charles has a precious nickname that the little ones call him. Royal author and correspondent Robert Hardman has revealed that George and Charlotte call Prince Charles "Grandpa Wales"! Sorry, but how CUTE is that? What makes this even cuter is the fact that Queen Elizabeth used to call her grandfather, King George V "Grandpa England". Spotting a theme here... Robert also added: "Charles increasingly consults the Duke of Cambridge in all major family decisions; about his hopes that, while his sons have created new charity networks, one of his grandchildren — maybe George — will one day take on the stewardship of his own." Prince Charles has talked about what it is like to be a grandfather in the past, and he clearly adores it. "It's a different part of your life. The great thing is to encourage them. Show them things to take their interest. My grandmother did that, she was wonderful." He added: "It is very important to create a bond when they are very young." See, they're just like us in so many ways!
