Getting Inked: President Obama Has An Interesting Way Of Keeping His Daughters Tattoo-Free

We have to hand it to the President of the United States, when it comes to parenting he’s an absolute pro. Barack Obama has warned his daughters that if they get tattoos, himself and Michelle will get matching ones in the same place.

Speaking on NBC’s Today show, President Obama said that he hoped his threat would discourage his daughters from rebelling.

“If you guys ever decided you’re going to get a tattoo, then mommy and me will get the exact same tattoo in the same place. And we’ll go on YouTube and show it off as a family tattoo,” President Obama told his daughters Malia and Sasha during the interview.

President Obama’s daughters are the first teenagers in the White House since Chelsea Clinton. Malia is 14 years old and Sasha is 11.

In the interview President Obama also reacted to his wife’s recent remark that she was a “busy single mother.” The President  laughed and said that while he was runing for office, his wife was working and looking after their daughters so she may have felt like she was a single parent.

Could you imagine if you got a tattoo and your parents ended up getting the same one just to prove a point? Awkward!
