Ah, the days of the no makeup selfie.
You could scarcely scroll through Facebook or Twitter a few years ago without seeing someone sharing a pic of their face without an inch of foundation on.
Not a single contour was found during those days.
And now, the no makeup selfie has made its way to the cover of Vogue… except it’s not a selfie, it’s a professional shoot and it’s not someone you went to school with, it’s supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
And she looks class.

Gisele appeared on the cover on Vogue Italia this month, opting for no makeup, no stylist, and no artificial lighting.
Fair play to her.
Judging by the cover, it’s probably fair to go ahead and say that the 37-year-old chatted all things Sundays and what she gets up to around the gaf when she hasn’t got all that much else to do.
The second cover showed Gisele leaning over her countertop in an oversized jumper and rabbit slippers so, you know, pretty chill.

Gisele married American football star Tom Brady in 2009.
The pair have two children together – a son born in 2009 and a daughter born in 2012.
The model is also stepmother to a son from Brady’s previous relationship.
Gisele received criticism in 2015 when she was accused of mocking Muslims after wearing a burqa to a plastic surgery clinic in Paris.
The Brazilian model was also critiqued harshly for comments she made about hospital births being “violence against women and babies” and for riding an all-terrain vehicle while holding her 13-month-old daughter without a helmet.
