Gogglebox Ireland fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing during last night’s episode and were all left with the same question, was that Imelda May?
Marking the final episode of the series, fans were not disappointed when they spotted the famous face on their screens, alongside some fan favourite Gogglebox stars.
Getting fans talking, there was singer Imelda May sat smack bang in between Anita and Tracey on their couch.
Popping into the episode for only a brief few moments, her appearance led to more questions than anything.
One person said on Twitter: “Is that Imelda may?? #GoggleboxIRL.”
Another said: “Sorry… is no one else just completely thrown by Imelda May suddenly rocking up on #GoggleboxIRL?!”
A third wrote: “How did I not notice Imelda May?! Classic addition! #GoggleboxIRL.”

Gogglebox Ireland is set to take a break from filming for the next few months as season seven wrapped up on Virgin Media.
Last night’s episode saw the gang of the hit series sit back, relax and give their most honest opinions on Wild Mountain Thyme, Gwyneth Paltrow’s new Netflix series The Goop Lab with Gwyneth Paltrow, and the finale of RTE hit show Kin.
