Greg O’Shea gives his advice for the new winter Love Island cast

Ellen Fitzpatrick

A respectful king.

The new season of Love Island is only around the corner (Monday to be exact) and as we gear up for another season of love and drama, Greg O’Shea has some advice to give.

And who better to give it than the man himself, someone who went into the villa in the last two weeks of the show only to go and win the entire thing?

The Six O’Clock show presenter spoke with Her to give his advice for this new group looking for love – and he couldn’t have been more straightforward about it.

Greg said: “It’s exactly what my dad said, but I change it to ‘remember that your mother is watching’.

“Remember that your mother is watching and also if you’re trying to get on with a girl, treat her like you want your sister to be treated. That’s it, your mindset’s completely going to change, treat her with respect.

“If you don’t like her anymore, just be like ‘I don’t like you anymore for this and this reason’, or ‘because I fancy someone else more’, and that’s it, just move on. You’re just looking at them like ‘come on, just think about it for a second’.

“Maybe it’s just my Irish upbringing and different education than the UK lads but I’m looking forward to it, it’s going to be a good show.”

So that’s it, simple and straight to the point. G’wan Greg.
