The tell-all book also reveals his run-ins with the law, and how he was stopped by police while in possession of cocaine – only barely avoiding charges.
The 57-year-old also reveals details of the “momentous night” in 1986 that he first took cocaine.
“I took it because I really liked it,” he wrote.
The book follows on from The Fry Chronicles which was published in 2010. The latest instalment of the presenter’s autobiography sees him acknowledge that the Class A drug addiction cost him hundreds of thousands of pounds.
“How can I explain the extraordinary waste of time and money that went into my 15-year habit?” he writes.
