Here’s the list of items that are banned from Ed Sheeran’s gigs in Ireland

In case you haven't heard, Ed Sheeran is coming to Ireland.

The singer will kick off his mini-Ireland tour with three nights at Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork, beginning on Friday, May 4.  He will then play Boucher Playing Fields in Belfast on Wednesday, May 9, before back-to-back nights at Pearse Stadium in Galway on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13. The singer will then play three nights at Phoenix Park in Dublin, on Wednesday, May 16; Friday, May 18; Saturday, May 19. And while a number  of warnings have been issued about tickets,concert promoters have now released a full list of items that are banned from the gigs. They also discouraged any concertgoers from bringing bags "unless it is totally necessary" - in which case, they asked it to be A4 size. Bags that are larger than that size will not be permitted, while people who don't bring any bags with them will be fast tracked into the venue. Promoters said that the outdoor events will take place "rain, hail or shine", so concertgoers are advised to double-check the weather forecast before leave - especially as umbrellas are not permitted. Also on the banned list are any large lens professional cameras, or any form of video recorders. Flag poles, selfie sticks and sticks for any banners are also not allowed, while small banners - A4 or A3 size - will be permitted. Other items that aren't allowed into the venues include any article that may be used as a weapon, bottles, glass vessels, cans, flasks, Frisbees, and related items. Dangerous or hazardous items, illegal substances, scooters, skateboards, or other skates are also on the no-go list if you want to go in and see Ed. Promoters warned that laser devices, prams/push chairs, inflatable and folding chairs, suitcases, laptops, illegal merchandise items, hampers, and cold boxes, air horns and animals (except service dogs and guide dogs) also won't be allowed in.
