Chloe Zhao’s Nomadland emerged as the big winner of last night’s Academy Awards, which came as a shock to very few.
The film marked the director’s second big win during this year’s awards circuit, while also picking up the Best Picture prize and the Best Actress award for Frances McDormand’s incredible performance.
