Actress Demi Moore, who turns 50 on Saturday, has been awarded the title by CougarLife.com, a Canadian-based dating website specialising in matching up "cute cubs" with "yummy mummies".

Just to clarify, it’s not where Demi met her ex-husband Ashton…

Demi split from her 34-year-old husband Kutcher last November after six years of marriage. He was accused of cheating on her with a 22-year-old he met during a trip to San Diego.

Even though their relationship came to an end, the website's founder Claudia Opdenkelder credits the relationship with making ‘cougar and cub’ romances more acceptable to the public.

"Demi Moore has single-handedly done more for the cougar community than anyone and made significant strides in helping the lifestyle become part of mainstream culture," Claudia told RadarOnline.

Demi will receive a pair of animal print Christian Louboutin pumps and a special certificate as part of the honour, Claudia said.
