They've routinely denied rumours that they were dating but Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter have finally confirmed what we already knew.
The McFly singer came clean about his budding relationship with Goulding in documentary Fearne And McBusted, which aired last night, and now the Lights star has spoken about her boyfriend for the first time.
In an interview with Alan Carr, Goulding said that things were going well with Poynter, describing him as "a very lovely human being", but didn't dish too many details.
"Err, he's my man friend. Boyfriend traditionally," she said.
When questioned over how long the romance was going on, she again kept to a vague answer.
"Well I don't know. We were sort of friends for quite a long time."
