Hollywood couple Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara have posted photos of their trip to Cork online and in the process gave a local chipper a great plug.
The pair – who have been married since 2015 – have been in Ireland over the past few days with their dog Bubbles, stopping off in Dublin and Galway.

However, it’s their visit to Cork that has got the most coverage, with the couple sharing an image of them enjoying the local cuisine in the popular Fitzgerald’s Park.
Vergara posted to her Instagram story a picture she took of Manganiello munching into a bag of food from the Jackie Lennox chip shop, located on Bandon Road.
Manganiello also shared the picture on his own profile, writing: “Getting my pre-dinner on in the land of my ancestors…”

On top of this, Vergara posed for a selfie where you can see the park’s water fountain behind her.
Meanwhile, the Jackie Lennox chip said it was “freaking out” after hearing about the stars ordering from its establishment.
“Great to see Hollywood get a real taste of Cork,” it wrote online.

Manganiello is known for appearing in True Blood, the Magic Mike franchise and Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. He also played Deathstroke in the DC Extended Universe.
Vergara is best known for starring as Gloria in Modern Family and for being a judge on America’s Got Talent.
