Homeland Has A New Addition And We Reckon Crying Face Clare Has Met Her Match!

Clare Danes and husband Hugh Dancy have welcomed the arrival of their baby son.

Named Cyrus Christopher Dancy, the baby is a first for 33-year-old Clare and 37-year-old Hugh who married in France in 2009.

The couple confirmed Clare’s pregnancy in July and the star was forced to film the second series of Homeland whilst pregnant with baby Cyrus.

She said earlier this year “I’ve been pretty fortunate thus far. We’re in the middle of filming our second season and luckily we’ve been able to conceal it. But it’s now getting to the point where I’m looking a little knocked up. They haven’t written it in, but they’ll be able to manipulate it in post and do some CGI trickery and make Carrie not so pregnant.”

Danes, who has enjoyed unprecedented success with the series has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series but it is unknown if the new mum and likely winner will attend the awards show on January 13^th.
