Huge congrats! Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams are engaged

Huge congratulations are in order!

Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams are engaged. The former Made in Chelsea star popped the question on stage after a performance of The Lion King in London. On the moment he proposed, the 28-year-old said:

“I’ve known Vogue was the one for a long time. “We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her. “The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit. "The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!”

(Photo via Alex Mumford) The couple watched the show before partaking in an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the theatre. The tour then culminated on the beautifully lit-up stage, where the couple were left for a few moments in private for Spencer’s surprise proposal.

Vogue first found fame on Fade Street – a Dublin-based reality TV show that aired on RTE 2.

And in more recent times, she’s turned her talents to presenting – fronting documentaries for RTE, as well as leading Her.ie’s fitness series, In Training With. She previously told The Mirror:

“We were just really good pals for ages, then we were in Austria and had a few drinks. I suppose that’s the way it goes.”

Vogue was previously married to Brian McFadden. She and the former Westlife singer wed in Florence in 2012, 18 months after they met.
