“I Cry All The Time” – Actress Opens Up About Her Personal Life

Actress Katie Holmes has spoken about her personal life saying that she has moved on from ex-husband Tom Cruise and is ready to love again. The thirty five-year-old gave an emotional interview to People magazine where she said that she doesn't want that time in her life to "define" her. "I don't want that moment in my life to define me, to be who I am. I don't want that to be what I'm known as. I was an actor before, an actor during and an actor now" said Katie. "I don't have any fear now, I don't have a lot of rules for myself, and I don't take myself that seriously". Describing herself as a "loving person", the actress told the publication that she is ready for new romance but it might not happen straight away. “What I’ve come to understand is that your dreams will happen, but they might not happen when you want them to,” said Katie. “There are some things you just have to wait for.” Katie said that she is more sensitive that people realise Katie said she is more sensitive than people think: "I'm much more shy and much more sensitive than people realise. I cry all the time. I do!" The star, who has a daughter Suri (8) with Tom, also talked about motherhood. "My patience has grown, but between 4 and 6 p.m. ...I mean, wow. Between tickle fights and glitter art, I try to throw in some manners along the way". Tom and Katie filed for divorce in 2012. The actress has custody of Suri and lives with her daughter in New York City.
