“I Want My Ring Back!” Max George Demands Michelle Keegan Returns The Engagement Ring He Bought Her

Ladies, if you’re engaged to someone and you split up do you think you should give him back his ring or do you reserve the right to keep it? We’re asking because according to reports this morning, Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan is involved in an intense dispute over the €12,000 engagement ring her ex bought her.

Apparently Max George, from boy band The Wanted, has been pleading with his ex-fiancée Michelle to return the sparkler for the past four months following their split.

The couple parted ways at the end of the summer after rumours surfaced that Max was ringing and sending dirty texts to his ex-girlfriend, while he was engaged to Michelle. Now he is desperate to get the ring back.

“He is desperate to get it back but is not getting anyway,” said a source.

However, another source who is close to Michelle is claiming that the actress is “staggered” by the demand.

“It’s a bit rich considering all that’s subsequently come out to suddenly start demanding it back. Perhaps he needs the money,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Michelle was more than happy to meet him face-to-face in order to return the ring, but Max has told her that he’d prefer it if she posted it to him.

Max hinted at his engagement-ring related frustration on a radio programme recently. He was asked what was the most expensive thing he had ever bought and he replied “a ring.”

When the presenter asked him if he had managed to get it back, Max said “not yet.”
