“I’d Hate To Be A Hot Model!” Lena Dunham Wants Us To Know That She’s Comfortable In Her Own Skin

Here at Her.ie towers we’re massive fans of Lena Dunham and if anything, this has just made us love her even more.

RadarOnline reports that Lena has opened up about being comfortable in her own skin and has revealed that if she was given the opportunity, she definitely wouldn’t trade places with Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel or Alessandra Ambrosio because she just loves being herself.

“I don’t think I’d like it very much,” said Lena, when she was asked what it would be like if she woke up looking like a Victoria’s Secret model.

“There would be all kinds of weird challenges to deal with that I don’t have to deal with now. I don’t want to go through life wondering if people are talking to me because I have a big rack,” she added.

Lena has said that she thinks her current appearance works to her advantage.

“Not being the babest person in the worl creates a nice barrier,” she said, speaking to Playboy magazine.

“That said, I probably would want to see if I could get free food at restaurants. Then I’d call a doctor and see if she could return me to my former situation,” she added.

Lena is happy with her body and wouldn't change it

Lena, who is currently dating Jack Antonoff from the band Fun, also claims that she doesn’t really get hit on as much as people think.

“Sometimes when we’re shooting the show, extras don’t know that I’m the director. They’ll come up and say, ‘How long have you been working as an extra? Want to walk over to the craft services table?’” said Lena.

“Otherwise, despite all the attention I’m getting lately, I definitely haven’t had any Ryan Goslings saying ‘I love the way your mind words. Can I take you to dinner?’ Maybe it would happen if I looked like a Victoria’s Secret model for one day. Now I understand how I could use that,” she added.
