TOWIE's Gemma Collins has spoken out about being assaulted by her boyfriend before she entered I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.
The reality star revealed the details of an altercation with on-off boyfriend Alex Moss in an interview with OK! Magazine, admitting that he he physically assaulted her in her own home.
"Obviously, I had a bit of a rough time before I got out here. I got to the hotel room and thought, it's all been a nightmare, I can't wait for it to be over.
"You know what it's like when you're absolutely in love with someone and you get badly let down.I am bruised, but [camp medic] Dr Bob's come along with his cream to pull the bruising out a bit better. I'm in a bit of pain but that's it."
Collins has had a difficult start to her jungle experience, refusing to take part in a helicopter journey in the opening episode of this year's series, and said she would be using her time in Australia to think about the future of her relationship.
"I don't know how I'm going to feel later but at the minute, I just need to heal myself. In a month's time, who knows what's going to happen? But I've got to protect myself at the end of the day."
