It has been reported that the I’m a Celebrity camp may have to be evacuated as weather forecasters have predicted that a massive storm could hit the jungle.
Hailstones and heavy rain have been forecasted for today and tonight in Australia with the Government’s Bureau of Meteorology reportedly issuing a severe weather warning for Queensland.
“Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours,” a spokesperson said.
The government also advised people to move their cars “under cover” and to “unplug electrical appliances” – neither of which would affect the celebrities in the camp all too much!
It has been reported that producers have planned to move the camp to higher ground but will evacuate if conditions become dangerous.
The Mirror reported that just two hours from the camp a 97mm fall of rainfall has been recorded in the space of just one hour.
