She didn’t come across as the brightest member of the jungle and used to enrage and entertain her fellow celebrities with clueless questions about everything so we were a little surprised to hear that Helen Flanagan is heading back to school to study for her A-Levels.
The curvy blonde who grew up playing Rosie Webster on Coronation Street left school with no qualifications and is serious about showing the public that she’s not as stupid as she seems so has decided to head back to the books and finish her studies.
Maybe someone should tell Helen that you have to sit at the desk, not on it…
Speaking to Love It! magazine, the 22-year-old actress says “I really, really want to finish my studies. I think it’s so cool when girls are at school trying to do well and striving for the best job.”I want to do it for myself next year, even if that means finishing my A levels at home and waiting a few years to do a university course.”
And it’s not just Helen who is eager to prove the public wrong. She also reveals that her boyfriend Scott Sinclair is super supportive. “”Scott gets annoyed when people say I’m stupid because he knows I’m not.
“People think that if you do sexy modelling, you’re a bimbo or promiscuous – and I’m neither. Scott supports my modelling.”
Helen wants to be taken seriously from now on…
The reality star is planning on taking courses in History, Psychology and wait for it… Religious Studies. She may not look too wholesome in her raunchy shoots but the Manchester native’s parents are strict Catholics so maybe some of their influence has rubbed off on her.
