“I’m Far Less Appealing in Real Life” Says Chris O’Dowd. Eh, We Beg To Differ…

You’d think that most men would be absolutely thrilled if women started fawning over them, but poor Chris O’Dowd has revealed that he’s not comfortable with his newfound sex appeal – sure God love him!

The Irish actor, who recently got hitched to journalist Dawn Porter, has admitted that he doesn’t feel like he deserves his heart-throb status and think that he’ll only be attractive when he gets older.

“I’m far less appealing in real life. I really don’t know what to say about,” said Chris, speaking to Time Out magazine.

“I’ve never been lavished with female attention. My mother used to say, ‘you just haven’t grown into your face yet.’ When I hit 60 I’ll be a real stunner,” he added (better form an orderly queue now then ladies!).

But that’s not all, Chris also revealed that he’s planning on playing an unlikeable character in his next three films solely just to ward off any female admirers that he may have, because his wife Dawn is the only lady for him.

“I’m a bit of a d**khead in my next three or four films. That’s how uncomfortable I feel with female attention. I’m basing my career on stopping it,” he joked.

Well Chris, you may think that there’s nothing special about you but we’ve already awarded you man-candy status and we’re fairly certain there’s a hell of a lot more ladies out there who feel the exact same way.
