"I'm Very Sorry" - Ronan O'Gara Apologises After THAT Late Late Show Comment
Rugby star Ronan O'Gara has taken to Twitter to apologise for a comment he made on Friday night's Late Late Show.
The former Ireland player appeared on the show and spoke to host Ryan Tubridy about his family life as well as his professional achievements.
When asked about whether he considered his points haul a greater life achievement than raising five children under the age of 6 with wife Jessica, O'Gara responded: “I wouldn’t be nervous getting up on Jessica but I would be nervous kicking a ball.”

The comment appeared to stun host Tubridy and was instantly picked up on by viewers.
Today, O'Gara took to Twitter from his current base in Paris, saying he had apologised to Jessica and that he was also sorry if he offended anyone else with what he described as a "very poor joke".
