Irish actor Michael Fassbender has been confirmed to play Steve Jobs in a movie directed by Danny Boyle.
The Kerryman will portray the former Apple boss alongside Seth Rogen who is to take on the role of Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Kate Winslet, playing marketing boss Joanna Hoffman.
Fassbender made the cut for the finalised cast as both Leonardo DiCaprio and then Christian Bale pulled out of the role.

The film has been dogged by numerous problems, David Fincher was originally set to direct before Boyle took over the project.
Filming began this week and a release date has been scheduled for next year.
