A Dublin woman has launched a campaign to deliver the best Christmas present ever to her brother, a meeting with his favourite band Take That.
The boyband are in Dublin on Friday to appear on The Late Late Show and Fauve Kenny decided that this was the perfect chance for her brother Conor, who has Down’s Syndrome, to meet his heroes.
She has since been busy on social media trying to secure a face-to-face with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard McDonald or tickets to the Late Late filming, saying that the 18-year-old has travelled far and wide to support the band.
The campaign hit a setback when RTÉ replied to a tweet from Fauve to say, “RTÉ do not have the authority to grant a meet and greet with guests. Please apply for tickets online”.
However, it seems that the Dubliner’s request has made it all the way to Mr Barlow himself, who sent this encouraging tweet.
“@BirdyOD: Come on guys @GaryBarlow @OfficialMarkO @HowardDonald @takethat make it happen http://t.co/ZmKG9htm0N” *on it x*

We’ve got our fingers and toes crossed for you, Conor!
