Irish influencer Shauna Lindsay issues update as she undergoes heart surgery

Shauna Lindsay opened up about her major surgery on Instagram

In November, the 30-year-old influencer revealed she suffered a stroke. Shauna underwent multiple tests following the stroke, which led doctors to discover an issue with her heart.

Her scans revealed that she had a hole in her heart, which meant she would need urgent surgery before the end of 2025.

Shauna confirmed the surgery went well, and said this year has been a total rollercoaster for her.

Alongside a selfie taken in her hospital bed, the influencer wrote: "New heart for crimbo. What an emotional rollercoaster it’s been, 2025 kicked my ass in a lot of ways, but we keep it movin."

"Forever grateful that the surgery went well & even more grateful that it’s all over - the mental battle of these last few months has reallyyy been something let me tell ya," she added.

Shauna said she will now be focusing on resting and healing, and will "come back stronger and better than ever before."

"Thank you for all the love & prayers sent my way. I will update ye in more detail on everything when I can," she concluded.
