Irish Model Holly Carpenter Wants To Be The Next Elle MacPherson and Launch Her Own Lingerie Range

Former Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter wants to design her own lingerie range in the future.

The Irish beauty will return to college in the autumn to continue her studies in textiles at The National College of Art and Design.

According to The Irish Independent, the model wants to branch into fashion design once she graduates.

She idolizes Elle MacPherson, particularly her successful lingerie range, which has made her millions.

Carpenter believes there is a market in Ireland for luxury underwear.

“With jewellery there is a lot of competition out there but with lingerie, we don’t have huge selection in Ireland.

“For curvier girls, if they are looking for something to make them feel sexy, there’s really just Ann Summers.”

“I’d like to design lingerie that would make every girl feel sexy. I know what girls my age like but I have an idea of what people who are a bit older would like too.”
