According to HollywoodLife, The Vampire Diaries actor arranged for a private hour-long visit to Neil Lane jewellers in Los Angeles, where he was looking exclusively at diamond engagement rings. The 36-year old is believed to be planning to pop the question to girlfriend Nikki Reed this Christmas, with a source telling reporters: “He spent a while looking at expensive, cushion cut engagement rings on the first floor — like $100K and up expensive.” They later added that the actor picked a style and was “really excited” for the weeks ahead. Friends of the couple say they are “crazy for each other” with the actor having shared some loved-up snaps with his Twilight girlfriend enjoying their summer together.
