Matt Healy of The 1975 reportedly made some fairly harsh comments about Taylor Swift in a recent magazine interview.
During a chat with Q magazine, the interviewer asked Matt about Taylor, whom he was romantically linked to back in 2014 when she was spotted going to his concerts and wearing his tour t-shirt.
Matt said that the fact he was linked to someone famous meant the story featured on E News and that was pretty cool.
However, according to The Mirror, he then said: “it’s not really anything to talk about, because if she wasn’t Taylor Swift we wouldn’t be talking about her.
She wasn’t a big impact on my life. It’s just interesting to me how interested the world is about Taylor Swift”.
He then went on to say that the reason he mentioned that is because “if I had [properly] gone out with Taylor Swift, I would’ve been, “‘F***ing hell, I am not being Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.” You know, “F**k. That.”
‘That’s also a man thing, a de-masculinating, emasculating thing”.
Taylor has yet to respond but we can’t see her being too happy with these comments.
In the meantime, she and Calvin Harris remain gloriously loved-up.
