It’s going to be an important week for the Duchess of Cambridge

Cathy Donohue

Awwwww.

Children around the country returned to school last week after the summer holidays and it was an emotional time for many mums.

The Duchess of Cambridge is in that very situation herself this week as Prince George returns to school and Princess Charlotte to nursery.

Last year, Prince George started ‘big school’ for the first time but Kate was unable to be there on the day as she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, extreme morning sickness, while pregnant with her third child, Prince Louis.

However, the mum of three is expected to accompany both George and Charlotte to school this year and seeing as she missed out in 2017 with Prince William bringing George on his very first day of big school, it could well be an emotional day.

According to Hello magazine, the back to school drop-offs for the little royals will be a quiet affair this year.

There won’t be any paparazzi waiting to catch that all-important shot for it seems that Kate wants it to just be her and her children, awwww.

Apparently, Kate brought George to school the day after giving birth to Louis so it’s clear that the school run is majorly important for the Duchess.
