Katie Price is apparently claiming that Oscar Pistorius sent her a number of direct messages on Twitter during his trial.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Paralympian allegedly thanked the model for her support after she talked about the case in one of her magazine columns.

She reportedly told 3am: “He was direct messaging me during the case. It’s weird, isn’t it? He was saying, ‘Thanks for the support,’ and stuff. Just all general chit-chat

“Because I mentioned him in my column, he was referencing that. I wasn’t exactly supporting him, but everyone who goes through a trial will be the only lone who knows what really happened.”

Oscar Pistorius Is Sentenced For Killing Girlfriend
Katie Price is claiming that she received messages from the athlete during his trial.

The messages, from a verified account, were discovered by Katie’s older brother a matter of weeks after she wrote about the Pistorius trial in her column back in March.

At the time, she said: “No matter who you are or where you’re from or what you do, we are all equal when it comes to judicial undertakings and no prejudice or external factors should complicate the process.

The mother-of-five added: “I’m certainly not going to judge Oscar on other people’s theories portrayed in the media.”

Earlier this month Pistorius was sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty of the culpable homicide of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
