Katie Price has admitted that she has never had a smear test.
The glamour model made the shocking statement during her Fubar radio show today, saying that she thought she was being examined while attending hospital during her previous pregnancies.
“I presumed because I’ve had all my kids they check you for everything. I had a reminder through and I ignored it. I thought, ‘I don’t need that’. “I haven’t had a smear test for… Well, I can’t remember the last time… I’ve never had one.”
In Ireland, women between the ages of 25 and 60 are advised to undergo a smear test every three years in order to detect pre-cancerous cells and Price urged her listeners to make sure to make an appointment.
“Now I need to have a smear test. You never know, you could be the one. I’m going to get checked now.”
