No, he wasn’t doing the smooching, but it was all very unusual.
The former X Factor winner performed his romantic song Naked during a scene in Brazil’s O Tempo não Para.
40 million people watched it, so it was a pretty good start if James is planning to pursue that Soap Opera life.
James Arthur was invited on the show after the song went viral when it featured in a love scene between one of the show’s most popular couples.
