After returning to hospital to help manage her pain, Jenny says that she is finally feeling better.

Irish photographer Jenny McCarthy has given an update on her health as she recovers from her recent brain surgery.

Jenny, who is married to Virgin Media presenter Martin King underwent surgery a few weeks ago to remove a brain tumour. She had previously had another brain tumour in 2010, and was given the all-clear following that surgery.

Over the past few weeks, Jenny’s been sharing her experience with recovery, and has shared that she is finally starting to feel a little better.

Updating her followers via her Instagram story, Jenny wrote: “I’m just coming on to let you all know how I’m recovering from brain surgery almost two weeks ago, so many of you asking.

“Unfortunately, I had to go back into hospital last week because of nausea and severe headaches. I can’t begin to explain how painful the headaches have been.”

Thankfully, Jenny did share that she began feeling better yesterday.

She wrote: “Yesterday afternoon was the first day I started to feel a little better. Please god I will start to get better day by day. I certainly didn’t expect this after-effect, that’s for sure.”

Jenny then gave a special shoutout to Martin, who has been taking time off work to care for her as she recovers.

She said: “Thankfully my lovely hubby has another week off to help me. Virgin Media are just so so good to him.”

Jenny then thanked all of her followers for sending her messages of support.

The update comes just days after Jenny returned to hospital following surgery due to pain.

Last week, she took to Instagram to share that she was back in Beaumont, and asked her followers say a prayer for her in the hopes of managing the pain.
