Jesse to Say Goodbye to Nadine Once and For All?

He got it as a symbol of their love and apparently in the hope that she would get back together with him. But it seems that Jesse Metcalfe is finally ready to get rid of his suggestive Nadine Coyle tattoo.

The former Desperate Housewives star dated the Girls Aloud singer for two years and when they broke up, he went a tad off the rails. Not only was he treated for substance abuse but he also decided to get a topless tattoo of his former flame on his upper arm.

Jesse and Nadine back in 2006 before they went their separate ways.

Now it appears that the actor, who is currently starring in the remake of hit show Dallas, is concerned that the etching might have an effect on his career and personal life.

‘I think it’s beautiful, but it was a bit impulsive... I would like to do a period piece at some point, and having tattoos is definitely a hindrance to getting that kind of work,’ said Jesse according to the Irish Daily Mirror.

He continued: ‘The great thing about tattoos is it reminds you of a specific point in your life. I see it as art.’

As deep as that sounds, we’re not sure his fiancée and actress Cara Santana feels the same way about having to see her beau’s semi-naked ex-girlfriend every day.

Now that we mention it, wonder if she had anything to do with his decision?

Jesse and Cara have been dating for three years and are engaged to be married.
