Jessica Simpson Debuts Her New Trim Figure Thanks to Weight Watchers

Jessica Simpson is setting a great example for new moms everywhere and has shed her baby weight the healthy way with the help of Weight Watchers.

The 32-year-old reality star showed off her slim figure on the new Katie Couric chat show yesterday where she was the first ever guest.

Jessica revealed that she has shed almost three stone over the summer by following the Weight Watchers regime but said that losing the weight was a difficult feat.

“During pregnancy, I didn’t really think about it,' she said about her weight gain.

“I thought my doctors were telling me that it was just a lot of water and whenever my water broke my whole entire stomach would go down but that did not happen. 

“All the weight did not come out with the baby,” she said.

Jessica said that her daughter, Maxwell, has helped her on her weight loss journey.

“I basically take her with me, whether it’s strapping her on me or strolling around the neighborhood,” she said. 

“My new goal is 14,000 steps a day.”

While Jessica may not be ready to don that bikini just yet, the blonde shared a photo of her daughter in a yellow bikini with Katie’s audience.

Jessica signed a deal with Weight Watchers earlier this summer, which was believed to rake in $4 million (€3.1 million) for the star.

“You have to track every bit, and you can't get away with the bites because they add up,” she said. 

“You have to be completely honest with yourself, and I think just creating that relationship of honesty with yourself is so good.”

The new mom said appearing on the chat show looking well was one of her biggest goals so far.

“I've just had a lot of pressure on me and today was actually one of my goals,' she said.

“Getting here in a comfortable and beautiful dress,” she said.
