So, earlier this month we reported that Jesy Nelson and love Island’s Chris Hughes had split, after three weeks of dating.
The pair were first spotted together in January, enjoying a date at The Cauldron, a Harry Potter-themed bar before sharing a kiss in a takeaway in the early hours of the morning.
However, their short fling was over after a few weeks, with Jesy calling it quits as she’s afraid he’s “fame hungry”.
Speaking to The Sun, a source revealed that Chris was heartbroken but understands it’s for the best.
“Chris has been upset by the break-up. But Jesy has explained that she needs to protect herself and her career – and taking their romance any further was proving a massive risk.”
PLOT TWIST: they seem to be back on, and very much in love.
The couple actually jetted off on a cheeky weekend away to Dublin last Friday.
Clearly they’ve overcome the initial problems.
Jesy posted a couple of cute videos to her instagram story today, including one of the pair singing a Busted song while waiting for a flight.
Chris also shared a couple of snaps of their time in Dublin.
As the pair landed back in the UK this afternoon, they were papped looking very sweet – holding hands and smooching.
