"The beautiful #jodiewhittaker in our custom made beanbag ball dress for #thebritawards2022 @britawardsinc – the dress is all made from end of life materials and was created specifically to incorporate her pregnancy, while allowing Jodie to retain her sense of self.
"We’ve worked with Jodie before and love the energy she brings to our pieces… for this occasion, we wanted to make something both structured and yet playful – and this is the result."
Jodie is already mum to a seven-year-old daughter, who she shares with American actor Christian Contreras.
The pair married in 2008 and are notoriously private about their relationship.
"I don’t divulge stuff about him, because I don’t think he’d appreciate it when he’s not here to speak for himself," Jodie previously told The Mirror.
The pregnancy news comes as the star recently revealed she would be leaving her role as the Time Lord in BBC's Doctor Who alongside showrunner Chris Chibnall.
Jodie joined the sci-fi show with Chris back in 2017.
Announcing their departure, Chris said: "Jodie and I made a 'three series and out' pact with each other at the start of this once-in-a-lifetime blast.
"So now our shift is done, and we’re handing back the Tardis keys."
