John Travolta had a heart-shattering moment at this year's Oscars as he paid tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John.
The Grease actress sadly passed away in August after a long battle with cancer at the age of 73.
During the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday night, Olivia's former co-star and dear friend John took to the stage to introduce the Oscars In Memoriam.
John said: “In this industry, we have the rare luxury of doing what we want for a living and sometimes we get to do it with people that we come to love.
“Since tonight is a celebration of the work and accomplishments of our community this past year, it is only fitting that we celebrate those we lost, who dedicated their lives to their craft both in front of and behind the camera.
“Through their immeasurable contributions, each of them left an individual mark that shared and informed us."
Speaking through tears about his late friend, John continued: "They touched our hearts, they made us smile and became dear friends who we will always remain hopelessly devoted to.”
Olivia Newton-John passed away at her home in California this morning, August 8th.
Following the news of her passing, the actor penned a moving note to his late co-star.
Travolta starred alongside Olivia Newton-John in the 1978 musical Grease.
"My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible.
"I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever!"
He ended the tribute, "Your Danny, your John!"
