Yesterday Jonah Hill was on the receiving end of a lot of criticism after footage of him using a homophobic slur emerged online.
Last night the 22 Jump Street star spoke out about the incident during his interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Jonah, who had already apologised for using the term, reiterated his regret and explained why he used it before telling viewers to use him as an example of what not to do.
He said: “The word I chose was grotesque and no one deserves to say or hear words like that... I’m sorry and I don’t deserve or expect your forgiveness”.
