Jordyn Woods reportedly thought the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal would "blow over".
The 21-year-old (and Kylie Jenner's possibly-former BFF) and the NBA player (Khloé Kardashian's now-ex boyfriend) were spotted being "very touchy feely" and making out a party late last month.
Since then, a
lot of new information has come out - including
text messages and
secret agreements. Jordyn has also reportedly moved out of the house she shared with Kylie and been "cut off" from the Kardashian clan.
An insider told
Us Weekly that Jordyn wasn't prepared for the backlash, as she initially "assumed it was going to blow over."
However, the model's concern is said to have become "elevated" after the "public outcry" when the news was made public.
"If this wasn't a news story, Jordyn wouldn't be apologising," they added.
The news comes amid reports of what the 21-year-old will actually say during her 'tell-all' interview with Jada Pinkett Smith today.
During her appearance on Red Table Talk today, Jordyn will reportedly give details about what happened between her and Thompson.
According to
TMZ, this includes the fact that she was sober when it all happened - previous reports
said she had told friends it was a "stupid" drunken mistake - and that nothing happened beyond them making out.
A source told the news outlet that Jordyn will also apologise for what happened.
Red Table Talk's official Facebook page confirmed that Jordyn's interview will air today - and although it didn't specify a time, it is believed to be airing around 8pm Irish time.
