Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are never really seen fighting on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but on the latest episode, it was shown that the rapper wasn’t happy with what Kim wore to this year’s Met Gala.
The reality star spent eight months making sure her Thierry Mugler gown was perfect, and she documented it on social media (which she shared after the big event).
A lot of work went into the creation, but Kanye told her it “affects [his] soul” when she dresses sexily.
The 42-year-old came in on her last fitting and said that the dress doesn’t match with his “transition.”
He said: “I just made this transition from being a rapper, looking at all these girls, looking at my wife. Like, ‘Oh, my girl needs to be like the other girls, showing her body off’.”
“I didn’t realise that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that’s married and loved, and the father of now, what—about to be four kids?'”
He continued: “A corset is like a form of underwear. It’s hot. It’s like, it’s hot for who, though? You are my wife, and it affects me when pictures are too sexy.”
Kim totally hit back, saying that she didn’t need that kind of energy the night before the Met Gala.
“Just because you’re on a journey and you’re on a transformation doesn’t mean that I’m in the same spot with you,” she said, before muttering: “That’s absolutely ridiculous.”
Ridiculous indeed, Kanye.
