Kanye West was rushed to hospital just hours before a gig in Melbourne this week.
The Black Skinhead rapper was preparing for his final show in the Australian city on Wednesday when he was struck down with a headache and taken to Epworth hospital in Richmond, where he was given an emergency MRI at around 2pm in the afternoon.
According to Woman’s Day, an onlooker who was in the hospital with her daughter said that West had his face partially concealed when he was ushered through the back entrance of the facility by his security team.
The woman told the magazine that he was then stretchered in to the MRI area as doctors feared that the rapper had had a seizure or was about to have a seizure.
“Everyone was massively panicked. Everyone was moved out of the waiting and consulting rooms,” she said.
However, another source has claimed that Kanye is “fine” and “didn’t have a major health scare or seizure”.
“He just suffered a migraine and went to the hospital simply as a precaution”
The rapper’s concert at Rod Laver Arena went ahead as planned later that night.
