She’ll be back, don’t worry.

Virgin Media presenter Karen Koster has revealed that she will be “handing over” her spot on the Six O’Clock show to Una Healy next week.

Saying that she is taking some time off to be with her family and spend quality time with them, the host won’t be appearing on the show for a while.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, the 40 year old told her thousands of followers that she won’t be appearing alongside Martin King for the next while once Thursday’s show was done.

Posting the snap to her Instagram story, the presenter wrote: “Home after work. Handing over to the gorgeous @unahealy next week while I spend some QT with the fam.

“Like the saying goes – my two favourite things are 1. Spending time with my kids, 2. Spending time apart from my kids… I’ll be running back to work in a week!”

This year has been like no other for the presenter as she fronted RTÉ One’s Saturday night hit show with Loah which showed off some of the biggest and best of the Irish musical talents.

But it hasn’t just been presenting two massive TV talk shows in Ireland, Karen has also managed to nab her very own radio show on one of the UK’s biggest country music stations, she’s killing it.

And as for Una covering for Karen on the Virgin Media show, it’s not her first time doing this as she joined Martin King back in October when Karen took some time off for a family holiday.
