Katie Price Blames Her Mammy For Her Driving Ban

Katie Price, the glamour model formerly known as “Jordan,” has been banned from driving after claiming that she didn’t see the two speeding tickets that were delivered to her. Katie’s excuse in court? She didn’t see them because she doesn’t open her own post. Epic.

According to reports, Katie said that it was her mammy’s job to look after all her post and her mam never alerted her to the speeding tickets that she had received (it’s always mammy’s fault, isn’t it?). Katie told a court that she had been moving house at the time and that her post would just be “thrown through open doors” and not retrieved for days at a time.

The notices were set to Katie after her white Range Rover was spotted speeding through London. And while Katie accepted that the car was hers, she denied driving it and said her fiancé, Leandro Penna, was using it at the time.

Katie maintains that she wasn’t driving it because she had gotten her “pink car” at the time of the incident and she was “obsessed with driving” the pink car instead of the white one.

The model was found guilty of two counts of failing to give information regarding a driver’s identity in court yesterday. Katie already had six points in her licence and after the ruling of the court she was landed with six more and banned from driving for the next year. She was also fined.

“If she delegates duties relation to post to another, while it may seem draconian, if that system fails, responsibility rests with her,” said District Judge Julia Newton who presided over Katie’s hearing.
