Katie Price has hit back at criticism for piercing her daughter’s ear.
The 37-year-old received backlash on social media after posting a picture of her 18-month-old daughter, Bunny, with her ears pierced.
Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women today, she defended her decision to have her daughter’s ears pierced saying, “Why is it when I do something I get criticised. You’ve got Gisele the supermodel had hers done at 7 months… Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie. Why don’t they get the same stick as me?”
She added, “I’m not going to sit here and have to justify myself. I just think she looks really cute.”
Her eldest daughter, Princess, doesn’t have her ears pierced because her father, Peter Andre, won’t allow it. Kieran, Bunny’s dad, on the other hand, was happy for her to have her ears pierced, with Katie citing his Spanish origin and their traditions as the reasons for doing it.
She concluded with, “It’s only pierced ears. Get over it.”
