‘To me that says a lot’ – Katie Price recalls her experience with Russell Brand

Katie Price has opened up about her personal experience with Russell Brand.

Two weeks after the comedian faced allegations of sexual assault from several women Katie has spoken out about the "few times" she met the 48-year-old. In an interview with G2 the mum of five recalled how she believed he was "quite a nice guy," and "quite funny," until a certain incident happened. Back in the noughties, when Katie was married to Peter Andre and Russell had a girlfriend, the two spent time together. During this time, she witnessed him do something she didn't approve of. He had his girlfriend with him and I was with Pete. He was trying to pull my stylist when his girlfriend was out there standing with her, so to me that says a lot. The truth always comes out in the end," she said. Though she may not have approved of what he had done back then, in 2017 Katie asked the comedian for relationship advice when they both appeared on Loose Women. At the time, the former glamour model's husband, Kieran Hayler, was refusing to seek help for sex-addiction, something that Russell had been open about struggling with. [caption id="attachment_589442" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Credit: MelMedia/Getty[/caption] "You say to Kieran, you've got to 100 per cent surrender, you've got to 100 per cent accept help and you no longer have the right to be in control of this situation after the way you've treated me and the way you've behaved, so you want to get yourself away, turn your life around and start making some changes," he told her as the audience cheered in support, "So he needs to go." Last week London's Metropolitan Police confirmed they have launched an investigation into Russell after receiving a "number of allegations of sexual assault," following media reports.
