“His condition is very dangerous.”

Katie Price’s son Harvey has been taken to intensive care at risk of organ failure.

The 18-year-old, who has a number of health conditions including Prader-Willi Syndrome and Septo Optic Dysplasia, was admitted to the ICU last night with a temperature of 42 degrees.

A representative for Price told The SunThe Sun that Harvey was finding it difficult to breathe.

“His condition is very dangerous and Katie is terrified,” said the representative. “He has a temperature of 42 degrees and is struggling to breathe.

“One of his conditions is adrenal failure that could cause his organs to fail and is very dangerous.”

Katie later confirmed the news on her Instagram page, writing: “I can confirm Harvey is in intensive care and in the best hands and would like to thank the ambulance services and the hospital staff for the quick response and making him stable.”

This comes as Katie and Harvey were due to appear in a new documentary together, Katie Price: Harvey and Me.

The BBC film, expected to be released some time later this year, focuses on Harvey’s childhood living with multiple genetic disorders, autism, as well as being partially blind.

“Every day presents a new challenge, no two days are the same,” Price said at the time.

“We have learnt and grown together, and together we have built our private world, a bond between mother and son which goes deeper than most – we are unbreakable.”

“Harvey has taken on every hurdle life has thrown at him – from birth, being told he would never see, to now drawing rainbows – he was told he would never be able to engage in everyday life, but is often the life and soul of the party.

“Harvey touches the hearts of all those he meets – his heart knows no bounds when giving out love and affection.”
