The royal family will spend Christmas Day together this year.

There has been a lot of back and forth with conflicting rumours about festive arrangements for the royal family Christmas 2018 mainly because there’s said to be an ongoing feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

Apparently, there is tension between the women after Meghan reportedly criticised a member of Kate’s team and there was a disagreement over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress but a spokesperson for the palace has said that these incidents “never happened”.

This short but sweet statement has done nothing to dispel the rumours however and there is still talk of a feud between the two women.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children will come together to spend the annual holiday at Sandringham, the Queen’s estate in Norfolk.

In conversation with the Daily Mail, a spokesperson for the family said that both families would join the Queen, Prince Phillip and presumably Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall for Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.

However, they could not elaborate on what they will be doing for the rest of the festive period or where they will be going so who knows, maybe they have holiday plans to ring in the new year.

It was originally thought that Kate and Wills together with their children George, Charlotte and Louis would head to Berkshire and have Christmas Day with the Middleton family but those plans have apparently changed.

According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t get to spend Christmas morning together and that’s all down to royal family tradition, you can read more about that here.

They can’t even have breakfast together which given that it’s their first Christmas together as husband and wife might be a little annoying.

All a bit bizarre really…
