Khloé Kardashian’s name is actually pronounced ‘Klo-ay’, apparently

Who knew?

So apparently, we’ve all been pronouncing Khloé Kardashian’s name wrong for some time.

That’s right, it’s not ‘Klo-ee’, but rather ‘Klo-ay’. Additionally, the emphasis is put on on the second syllable, rather than the first.

Believe, me, I’m as shocked as you are

The revelation comes following Andy Cohen’s recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,

There, the talk show host shed some light on how the Kardashian sister’s first name is actually pronounced.

“We’ve all been pronouncing her name wrong this whole time,” he said. “It’s Klo-AY. Klo-Ay is the name.”

He explained: “There’s a little accent over the name.”

Makes sense.

He explained how he nailed the correct pronunciation at a meeting with Khloé recently.

“I walked in and I go, ‘Khloé’, and the other women go ‘Excuse me?’ And Kris said, ‘Yeah, that’s actually really how it’s pronounced.'”

He added: “There’s a little thing on top of the name. Why am I the only one that got that one? I got the memo.”

Last night, the Kardashian sent her appreciation to Andy on her Instagram story.

Earlier this week, news outlets reported that Khloé is considering having another child via surrogacy.

A teaser for the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians showed the reality star asking boyfriend Tristan Thompson if they can have another baby.

Since then, a source told The Sun that Khloé is thinking about surrogacy.

“Khloé is seriously considering surrogacy,” they said. “Everyone is almost certain she’ll do it.”

The source added that she is leaning on Kim for support as she considers the future of her family.

“Kim went down the surrogacy route for two of her children and has only had a wonderful experience, Khloe is now thinking this may be her best route for baby 2.”
