Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are officially dating

“Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while.”

It was only a matter of time until one of the Kardashians started dating a rockstar.

They’ve dated basketball players, football players, rappers and singers, so it’s only right that Kourtney Kardashian is now dating the very iconic Travis Barker of Blink 182 fame.

A source told Us Magazine: “Kourtney and Travis are officially a couple. They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple months. Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while.”

The couple were spotted spending time together in Kris Jenner‘s Palm Springs home earlier this week.

Social media was alive with love for the pair who both posted photos poolside confirming that they were spending time together. Travis has also been commenting on Kourtney’s pics for a few weeks.

The two have been friends for years and have socialised in the same circles since Kourtney’s sister Kim was Paris Hilton’s assistant way back in the day.

If you aren’t a fan of rock music and you haven’t heard of Blink 182, you may also recognise Travis from his appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Barker has also appeared on Khloé Kardashian‘s Kocktails With Khloé.

Kim and Travis initially became friends through Paris Hilton. Barker was dating Paris at the time.

“How could you not stare at Kim?” Travis said at the time. “Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. Kim was eye candy. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Kim!”

In fact, Travis was the one Kim went to for advice when she was asked to to star in a reality show about her family, which would later become Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

He said he “gave her the best advice I could,” and that he remembers Kim seeing the potential in the series telling him “I think my family is interesting and it could be something.”

Obviously, she was right.
